– Emily, UKI would like to thank Flori , we’ve met her yesterday , she is lovely and does an amazing job with all the dogs.Thank you, Dana – for the opportunity. Norocel is lovely and very well behaved, we can’t wait to welcome in to our family. The shelter is good and the new building will be FANTASTIC.
– Lucy FI have just adopted a dog from Rolda, and I would like to state that it has been a very positive experience. Obviously I was unsure at first if it would be wise to adopt from so far, but as I researched more and more about Rolda and the dogs it seemed very possible. I found the You Tube videos by Carmel, the animal behaviorist particularly interesting and helpful. And thank you to Dave for his initial encouragement and help.
Dana has been a pleasure to communicate with all along, very helpful, honest with information and kind. I have only paid for the transport of my dog and I can only say good things about the lovely people from Pet Chauffeurs. My dog arrived fit and healthy and his temperament fits his description.
I would like to thank Dana and all the workers at Rolda for looking after my dog Bobby so well – he lived at Rolda for ten months and was obviously very well cared for otherwise he would not be the great dog that he is.

A Refuge for Romanian Strays in Western Europe
Out of abuses to which these dogs are exposed in Romania! Out to a country that rarely respects its values! This project just came into my mind and the more I think about it, I consider it a worthy investment. When advertising our dogs for adoption, we often gets questions if the dog can be [...]
Winter Emergency Appeal
To prepare the Adoption Centre’s new kennels for freezing months, we were advised by professionals to use infrared heating lamps for kennels with puppies and for kennels with older, weaker dogs- at least. We aim to be able to purchase a heating lamp in each kennel. A heating lamp costs approx. £38.00. We would need [...]
